For the eighth edition in March, we are excited to collaborate with Tina Lam on architecture as a site and framework for rebellion, sorrow, and joy.

REBELLION. SORROW. JOY.

Architecture and places are typically designed with intentions. Design aims to encourage and deter behaviors and actions. Regardless of intention, the controlling nature of architecture persists, while rebellion, sorrow, and joy are elements that disrupt control and demand expression and unfoldment. Confronting these forces, architecture and places can be transformed and reprogrammed, where rebellion, sorrow, and joy unfold and influence architecture and place.
