ROM is member of Balansekunst and the network Kunsthallene i Norge
ROM receives operating support from the Ministry of Culture. Like most small and medium-sized cultural institutions, we depend on 100% project funding. In the recent years we have received generous support from Kulturrådet, Bufdir, KORO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fritt Ord, Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, Balansekunst, The Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute, Viken filmsentral, Oslo kommune, Sophies Minde Stiftelse, the French Cultural Institute, the Norwegian embassy in London, Riga and Paris, the Goethe Institute. We also collaborate with institutions that involves joint project funding like the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, University of Bergen, Historical Museum in Oslo, local Deichman libraries and more.
